Here in Houston, we have two different breakfast meetup locations / days.

The one one on this thread is the South Quadrant Breakfast.
We meet on the first Friday of each month at 8:30 AM.
Kelley's Country Cookin'
2933 E Broadway St, Pearland, TX 77581
Walk in the front door, turn left (that's the only time you'll ever hear me advise a left turn) and you'll see a bunch of us near the end of the restaurant.

We also have one (listed on another thread) for the West Quadrant Breakfast

We meet on the third Saturday of each month at 8:30 AM.
Rudy's Country Store & BBQ
21799 Katy Fwy, Katy, TX 77450
We're usually sitting at the end of one of the tables next to the condiment station (closest to the big roll of paper that folks use for placemats / plates)

Yeah! Got my truck loaded down and dragging a trailer with my four wheeler! Of course at times you can actually go backwards on I-10 with all the traffic! "rlol"
One trip years ago I rode with my brother in his truck. We hadn't been on I-10 for very long when it started backfiring when he accelerated. He couldn't get it to go over 35-40 without backfiring and bogging down. It was at night making it even worse. We tried to figure out what it was, fuel filter was ok, no gas leaks. :???: We moved over to Hwy 90 and made the long slow journey home. Turned out the carburetor mounting screws came loose and it was sucking air around the base plate. We never thought to check that.

You’re right! Third Saturday, not Thursday.

I've had a contractor's employee here all week and he may be finished for the week today. If so, I'll be at breakfast. If he has to work tomorrow, I'll have to miss it.

I forgot all about the Texas Book Fair. I will be in Austin for that, hopefully securing a few more clients. I won't be driving as slow as puma guy though. :)
