The Dems regularly have intraparty brawls. It means nothing in the long run. Remember "PUMA" in 2008? And many iterations before that, clear back to 1968, which is the earliest one I remember (I was 8 years old then).

But come November, they all will remember that the real enemy is not ISIS or poverty or Zika, it is the Republicans, especially white male Republicans, and they will all pitch in to pull the lever for Hillary. Then they will go back to throwing shoes at each other.

The Left does not care for any principle except for the acquisition of power, and it values loyalty only in relation to its usefulness against "the enemy." If all the republicans and conservatives and libertarians could be made to disappear, the Hillary branch of the Democratic Party, which is basically leftwing fascism, would happily line up the Bernie-bro's against a wall and make them disappear too.

Thanks to ELB and something a Fox commentator did gave me an idea, I think I know how to unite all the delegates at the DNC! The new campaign logo:

The Hillary/Bernie Allied campaign for president.

That's the ticket!

There is still one thing that sets the marxist party apart from the republicants.

The dems elect their candidates.

The gop cannot.

I get so steamed up about all of the jackwagon politicians and their self-serving bull that I've decided to COMPLETELY avoid watching ANY of it, including coverage by the leering press (their "news" just spin with no redeeming qualities). It's really helping keep my blood pressure down....;)

Dennis Miller just came up with one, "Kaine and Unable."

8 years of Bush... Lost to Oblamer...Took the House back... you do remember piglousy was in charge... "Land slide" Republican victories nation wide. Took the senate back... Now leading what should have been a coronation, while bleeding DNC coffers.

Profanity fails me.

I watched both conventions with an open mind and I listened to MOST of the speakers. I know the hate for the Democratic Party runs deep here Texas and lot of people are closed minded about things; but I am sorry to inform you that you are incorrect about Mrs. Obama not mentioning the police officers in Dallas. I am not sure in which order she said it (officers or protesters), but she mentioned both back-to-back and explaining that how the protesters were protesting for change and the " brave police officers were their to protect them"-M. Obama. Now if you would like to go back and watch the 15-20 min speech again (which i'm sure you're not), I am sure you will see where she mentioned and praised both parties in Dallas that evening.

Good observation, thanks.

I've heard the word "demagogue" used in the Democratic Convention and also by Stephen Hawking and wasn't sure exactly what it meant. Wikipedia says:
"A demagogue ... is a political leader in a democracy who gains power by appealing to the passions, prejudices, and ignorance of the common people, tending to undermine democratic procedures and the rule of law. Demagogues usually oppose deliberation and advocate immediate, violent action to address a national crisis; they accuse moderate and thoughtful opponents of weakness. Demagogues have appeared in democracies since ancient Athens. They exploit a fundamental weakness in democracy: because ultimate power is held by the people, nothing stops the people from giving that power to someone who appeals to the lowest common denominator of a large segment of the population.

Does this definition seem to fit either candidate for President? :confused5

Explain how those "landslide victories" and house and senate majorities prevented anything. They all rolled over and showed Barry their bellies.

Oh, my mistake. I thought we were talking about the GOP that was not able to win elections.

The basic difference between the two conventions: One convention booed the runner up when he refused to support the winner. The other convention booed the winner when the runner up declared support for the winner.

The gop lost the last two elections with the worst president in history in the White House. You knew I was talking about presidential elections. Klin-ton will be the next president for two terms. The majorities in the house and senate are useless since you did not provide any evidence that they neutralize zed the tyrant in chief. The gop cannot win the White House.

I had to google it to make sure this wasn't a joke. Well, any more of a joke than the DNC is to begin with...

How is there anyone left who takes these clowns seriously?
