DNC Chair Wasserman Schultz to Step Down

#1

Post by Skiprr »

Interesting development. Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz announced today that she will step down at the end of the convention. ABC News says the announcement "follows a firestorm over hacked emails suggesting the Democratic National Committee favored Clinton during the primary, despite pledging neutrality. The leaked emails prompted primary runner-up Bernie Sanders to call for Wasserman Schultz's immediate resignation."

My understanding is that she will also not speak at the convention, a very atypical divergence from tradition. And everyone was pointing at the divide within the Republican Party...

Bernie Sanders is on the speakers' list tomorrow night. Maybe he will tell the audience to vote their conscience...:)

But, sadly, no. I fully expect him to toe the party line and be completely pro-Hillary.

Shows just how corrupt politics are and how the selection process is rigged. It wouldn't surprise me if the republican selection wasn't similarly influenced.

We should be glad we aren't old enough to remember when these things were really crooked and corrupt.

Those old birds would have died laughing when the two most prominent families of vote riggers and election stealers in the country couldn't even outdo those Bush wimps.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

It's been a pretty fast rise in the Communists formerly known as Democrat Party for old Bernie. He wasn't one until this year.

Ted Cruz stuck to his principles, right or wrong. Bernie on the other hand ...... well, uh! - make up your own mind if he has any. The Democrat party's primary rules make the term Democratic an oxymoron.

There's no difference between any of them. The only thing that will separate the wheat from the chaff is a constitutional amendment that establishes TERM LIMITS for congress. While y'all are at it, you should also establish TERM LIMITS for federal judges as well.

Our Founding Fathers never envisioned career politicians, bought judges or airplanes or computers, etc., etc., etc.

Bernie will sell his soul again just like he Been promising "free" everything. Once a soul is sold, it's easy to resell and trade it.

Unfortunately, it appears his main principle is "Cruz for Prez".

I won't defend Cruz or his actions. I have little respect for either of them.

The real scandal is when the same hackers release some of Hilary Emails. Hilary would say: What difference does it make....

These types of folks never lose anything by leaving a position - the folks who fund them just open up another high paying low work job for them somewhere else.
