"Strong on Defense" by Sanford Strong

Following the advice of one of the posters on this forum, I just finished reading "Strong on Defense". I found it to be a big help in crawling up the learning curve from "competent shooter" to "ready to carry".
For me and my situation, the most helpful info from this book was the real life stories, the importance of "mind=settting", and the often repeated idea that "Escape" is a better goal than "Triumph", the importance of NOT making the gun the center of your survival plan.
I'm still not ready to carry a firearm but I'm getting there.
