I will try to be there, last year work prevented me from attending.

Really interested...First time ever heard of such. Anyway, would like to invite two. Might push up to four but won't know 'til further in the future. September is somewhat "Bad School Month" for me and my GF in school.

I will be there and there's a good possibility that I will have my wife in tow. This will be my first year to attend and I am very much looking forward to it!

DH has RSVP'd for us, and I'm willing to lend a hand.
I can't wait for this. It sounds like so much fun!

Re: Planning has started for this year's event
I hope to attend and to bring my husband as well.
The drive means that we won't be attending anything on Friday.
Lunch last year was delicious, but a bring your own would be fine too. I still want a fashion show, though

Re: Planning has started for this year's event
I would love to attend, and would be bringing the wife. I have never been to one of these but it sounds like a great time. How many rds of ammo do I need to bring, so I can start getting a little every month? Where is PSC located, I live by Ellington Field for all the local people? Thanks

I think I went through 100 rounds last year and I could have used twice as much if I wanted to.

Re: Planning has started for this year's event
Unfortunately, I won't be able to be there this year. Is there any chance that future events might be more centrally located for those of us who live a ways away from the coast?

Re: Planning has started for this year's event
I would consider 200 the lest to recommend even for a conservative shooter. I ran over 400 last yr & my son shot 600. The Texas Star & the plate rack are real ammo eaters even for experienced shooters.
New shooters that find the Star too much of a challenge can still easily shoot 200 rds at the different stations for open shooting.
Since this is an all day event 25 rds an hour will use the 4 boxes of ammo & that is a Magazine & half for the high cap simis. only 2 reloads for a singlestack 1911. You will shoot a lot more than you think you will.
For your first time I suggest you take twice what you actually think you might shoot.

Carry 24-7 or guess right.
