That is a bunch of birds to be sure! Looks like a herd when they all gather on the other side of the meadow, but wild turkeys are indeed called a flock. We had two flocks on our lease that had grown from just a few beginning about ten years ago. We don't hunt them, but the absentee property owner next to us has two illegal alien grounds keepers that live on the property who have killed them all. One flock had about 35 birds and the other one about 20. They wiped them all out in two years. We know they take deer all season as well and have reported them to no avail, but I understand wardens can't keep a constant watch to catch them. BTW the group name for domestic turkeys is not the same as for wild ones. Domestic groups are called a rafter or gang of turkeys.
