Nice touch. I really liked the hog footage in the middle before the kills started. I had never seen those before.
I would love to be a gunner on such a hog hunt. I bet that is a lot of fun.

It was some good shooting. I don't see how they stay that accurate in a moving helicopter. It sure looks difficult to me, anyway. I guess they get training for that sort of thing, though!

Possibly in a month or so i will be able to let you know what this is like. Waiting on permission releases from several landowners and ammo to come in. Friend has the helicopter and i will furnish ammo and be the gunner, can't wait. Will shoot ar15 with eotech sight and brass catcher mounted on rifle so as not to throw empties into tailboom rotor.

I've seen the hunting footage before, without the Apocalypse Now footage mixed in. There were a lot of missed shots, which is fully to be expected shooting from a helicopter. I seem to recall in the original footage that the ARs used were scoped, but I could be wrong about that. I think that an Eotech or other combat optic might be a better choice than a scope, but that's just me.

I wonder why they mixed in footage of warthogs in Africa?

I think they should call Mike Dillon up and get him to go hog hunting with his 7.62 minigun-equipped helicopter.
