They were obviously raised with more common sense than University of Texas students.

This isn't new for TX State. I was there at the forum when it was first being debated a few years ago. The university police were adamantly against campus carry while the students were in favor. Fortunately, the police didn't vote, and the measure passed to recommend campus carry.

I have not heard of this until now, but I'm pleasantly surprised to see this happen. I'd love to tell y'all that the school is full of people that think like this/us but unfortunately that is not true. Take a gander through the "University Star" our school news paper. I have no doubt within the next few days there will be an article about this. But regardless of their goofy ideas it looks like the majority of politically active individuals on campus, are right leaning. I'm guilty of not being involved in student government, so I can't say a whole lot.
