Houston Zoo - any updates?

I haven't seen anything on this in a while, but last thing I saw, 30.06 signs came down and new signs claiming the zoo is an educational facility (a.k.a a school) went up. Has anything happened since then? Is there still an effort going on to have the signs removed?

Are the signs even enforceable? There has to be more to to getting an "educational institution" designation than simply claiming to be one. I know there are no rules regarding the signs that the Houston Zoo put up - they are simply large signs stating current penal code which may or may not be applicable to intimidate gun owners in much the same way they did with the 30.06 signs so the question is, ARE they applicable or can they just be ignored like any other invalid sign? Has this been challenged yet?
Don't let the wonder of seeing a pig fly be overshadowed by the inevitable disappointment over the brevity of its flight.
