Ci Ci's Pizza Great news!!!

#1

Post by rvsullivan »

I sent an email this morning to Ci Ci's Corporate explaining my issue with them posting both 30.06 and 30.07 signs in all their stores. I told them that the change was not warranted since most had been carrying in their stores for years with no issues. I received this reply this afternoon. This covers most/all the stores in the RGV.

Just wanted to take the time to thank you for your call in regarding the signage at our locations in the Valley. We would like to inform you that we will be replacing the signs to only have the Penal code 30.07, prohibiting to enter the property with a handgun that is carried openly. We hope to see you and your family enjoying CiCi's Pizza!

Please allow sometime (within 2 weeks) for these signs to be replaced, again thank you!

Thank you,

Cindy Benavides

I think we should let them know when in the area how much this is appreciated! :hurry:

Excellent. It's good to see some of the damage being repaired in a respectful diplomatic manner.

Excellent! Folks are doing a great job of being statesmen and approaching businesses respectfully and with facts in stead of threats and emotion. This is why signs are coming down. Once again, the "honey v. vinegar" adage is proving to be true.

Good job! Almost all of the new signs I have seen in my neck of the woods are 30.07 only. Pointing out that people had been carrying in their place of business for years sounds like a good way to make the case.

Well Done. Great handling of the situation. I'm a little surprised. I was on a "sign hunt" this week and made a point of checking our local CiCi's since there was a Baylor storefront with both signs two doors away. I saw no signs. If there is a 30.07, it is out of sight of the very front of the store. Maybe it is a local option.
