2015 Demographics

DPS is quicker this year than in years past. New demographics are available:

As of December 31, 2015:
Active License Holders: 937,419
Certified Instructors: 3,458

Wow! Quicker is an understatement! More like warp 9. Thanks for posting. I was wondering about this number.
It'll be interesting to see what the numbers will be at the end of 2016. I can easily see 1,250,000...and that might be greatly understated.

an increase of 111,000 in one year. 1,000,000 LTC by fall? I wonder how many out of state LTC could be added to the number.

How ironic - more and more people licensed to carry guns and fewer and fewer places to carry them.

That's what I've been thinking, I'm waiting on my license to come, but by the time I get it, it might be pointless
