Grapevine Mills Mall

I can't find any consistent answers on the grapevine mills mall, and my girl friend is insisting on going tonight....with everything going on in the world right now I'd like to avoid places like that all together, but at the same time I refuse to let these animals turn me into a hermit. Is there a final answer on whether or not the mall is posted 30.06?

Well, I'm sure that I can count on LE being able to immediately be there to provide support

Good one, but they are properly posted. Well, they were the last time I could not get out of going there a few months ago. And so is the theater, I think. Be careful, though, the signs do not appear to be of correct size, but I think they may meet the defined requirements. I say that they don't appear to at first glance because they are smaller than we would normally be accustomed. However, I think they have been able to shrink the size somewhat by using a narrow font, while still keeping the block style lettering 1" high.

Not every entrance to the mall is posted, and they don't have to be either. Years ago they had the large metallic monstrosities outside each main mall entrance with incorrect language and I carried there anyway.

Hmm...there is a small battle going on in my head if you know what I mean... I'd rather live and go to jail than die or be hurt empty handed..

Well you can always drop her off at the front door and have her call when she is ready for pick up, while you are waiting you sit in the parking lot and watch YouTube and read the forum, well at least that's what I do. There is nothing there I desire to see or buy that I cant get somewhere else.

And I thought I was the only one that did that. :thumbs2:

Actually, I think the last time I went over to BassPro and did that while lounging/checking out one of the pontoon boats.

It seems that there is a query of some sort every few weeks about Grapevine Mills Mall. I've never been, never will go, to Grapevine Mills Mall. I get the impression that the mall in Grapevine along with several other Grapevine businesses do not want the business of legal gun-toters?

There is no need to drop her then sit in the parking lot; Bass Pro is just across the street and gun friendly!! :thumbs2:

If they don't update to the language on January 1, I might start CCing there. They probably will though, because someone is going to open carry there and that'll probably prompt them to post 30.07 & 30.06 properly.

Well if it was up to me I wouldn't go there. I would much rather spend my money at a small business anyway, much less some left wing morons at a large corporation. So if caught carrying there for whatever reason, with this signage being wrong, what are the potential consequences?

Depends on the officer I would imagine. Might get one that knows the law and lets you walk, might get one that gives you a ride. TAM might chime in since he lives over that way I think. I hear not so great things about the city of Grapevine and guns, so wouldn't surprise me if the DA brought charges if you got the second kind of officer.
