I have been watching closely the bills for being able to carry in your car in employers parking lots. Now I have a new job just a mile from home ( a Godsend with gas prices). I am the foreman of a horse ranch. The owner knows I have a CHL, and encourages me to carry in my truck, and on my person if I want to shoot snakes, coyotes, etc....
It is sure nice to have a gun friendly boss. I will still watch Austin closely tho..

Wow, and I am trying to get the 120 days every two years ratio reversed. Two days every 120 years sounds much better to me.

My boss used to be very anti-gun until an disgruntled ex-employee began making threats against him, myself, the company, and several other employees. I now have written authorization to carry at work - its amazing how fast people wake up and accept reality when threats of violence hit close to home.

In the spirit of compromise, how about 60 days every 60 years? It has a nice round feel to it.

Yeah as long as we can hold off until the Republicans lose control. On the RKBA issues for the last several sessions it sure has been a lot of fun. I can't wait until 2009, I want more .. more .. more....

You are very fortunate to work for someone that encourages you to carry. I guess the duty of your job may require some of it. I can see where a weapon would be handy if predatory animals are nearby.

It's a great situation to be in, that's for sure!
