Got my Texas CHL quite a while back with a TX ID, no DL. Got a TX DL today. Do I need to make any changes to the CHL, update DPS? Feel stupid!

As long as the address on the DL and CHL match I don't think there is anything you need to do. Unless the ID# and DL# are different, because the ID# is probably on the CHL like my DL# is.
