Century 16 theater "firearms prohibited"

Ok so I was in Corpus Christi and carrying yesterday and I went to century 16 theaters. I noticed at the box where you buy your tickets it had several signs, but the only sign I saw that referred to firearms was "firearms prohibited." I didn't find any 30.06 signs anywhere and I looked forever. This means I could still carry in there right? Or am I missing something? Anyone else ever been there and carried?

Carry on!

A "No Firearms" sign prohibits unlicensed handgun carry (which is illegal anyway) and prohibits carrying long guns (OCT not welcome).

It has zero force with a CHL carrying a concealed handgun.

When you say you "looked forever" for a 30.06 sign, I'd like to observe that seems unnecessary. A proper 30.06 sign is large, right in your face, and pretty darn hard to miss.

I "looked forever" because I hear of 30.06 signs that haven't been so visible...I'm 2 weeks into carrying and just wanted to carry responsibly

That's makes your OP make more sense now.

30.06 signage should by the requirements of law be posted in a way you do not have to search for a sign. There's no reason to search for the sign, if it's not obvious it's not valid. That ease of mind will come with time, but you don't have to go out of your way as long as you understand the laws and are responsible.

A proper sign is hard to miss.

For a sense of scale, note from the reflection that this sign is about 3 feet high.

Look at this sign, it takes up the bottom half of this door.

The top pictured sign is not a valid 30.06 sign, it is the old sign before 30.06. The bottom sign is valid if all the letters are larger than a quarter. A quarter is .95 inches in diameter.

It was not before 30.06. It was the 30.06 sign before the language was changed to

“Pursuant to Section 30.06, Penal Code (trespass by
holder of license to carry a concealed handgun), a person licensed under
Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code (concealed handgun
law), may not enter this property with a concealed handgun”;

I know what the law says but has there been a case where someone was arrested but not convicted because the sign has the old VCS language?

Please provide the case information. I am unaware of any case law on this.

THE sign also needs contrasting colors.

He's asking a question, not making a statement.

My mistake. As far as I am aware there has not been.
