Unholstered

new here guys, so be easy on me :patriot: My plastic is in the mail, waiting waiting waiting.. I’ve always been around firearms my whole life and I’m an avid hunter.
I realize there will be times when I have to go into a no gun establishment. so I built a gun vault under the seat of my Jeep.. I can lock the gun up.
my Question is would you or would you not wear your holster concealed? Seems removing from my belt could draw attention to my vehicle.

If I visit a location that is off limits, i.e. daughter's school, I lock my firearm in the lock box under my seat, and keep the holster on me.

Of course, I make every attempt to stay away from off limits locations.

Depends on the type of holster I am wearing. Some, like a paddle or pocket holster are easy.

I like holsters that can be removed without taking off my belt. I don't like putting my gun in a bug save or console without the gun protected by a holster if I can avoid it. I guess in back of my mind I've decided that if someone was to see me handling a holstered weapon it may not be a threatening as drawing a pistol from my waistband. Probably not true since someone will freak if they simply decide too, but it makes me feel better.

But, for quick runs into my son's school I discretely unholster and lock up as others have said.

This is one of the main reasons that I like and use a paddle holster.

I don't like having the trigger exposed. Gun stays holstered, always.

I solved this by having a second pocket style holster in the car at all times. I leave carry holster on as I don't want to mess with my belt. Just pull weapon and put in second holster, then lock up. Simple.

Depends on the holster and how easy to take off. If I have to undo the belt and all that then just take the pistol and place into lock box and wear empty holster inside. I do suggest parking out on the edge of the parking lot away from other cars so someone don't walk up on you un-holstering. Might freak some people out.

I would wear the holster if it's the kind you can't easily remove. I use a Remora no-clip and just take gun and holster out together. I agree with the others who say to keep the trigger protected.

+1 I do the same thing so I can easily remove my firearm from my person to my vehicle and it still be holstered. No one's the wiser and my pistol remains safely stowed.
