We went to see the movie Escape Plan this afternoon and noticed a decal on their doors that simply said "Firearms not allowed". We pressed on inside. BTW, for the 2:00 afternoon showing we were the only ones in the theater. One of the perks of retirement!!

Noncompliant signs exist primarily to placate ignorant antis.
"These are not the signs you are looking for"

I've always preferred Cinemark over AMC here in Plano because AMC has 30.06 sgins, but Cinemark doesn't have any signs at all. That changed after Aurora - all the Cinemarks around here put up new signs that say "No outside food, No recording, No firearms". Obviously, the signs aren't enforcable, and I agree they're meant to placate customers after Aurora. Still, I don't like the signs and wish Cinemark hadn't put them up. I don't really have any other options, though - it's either Cinemark or AMC, and given those, I choose Cinemark.

I think that's how all Cinemark theaters are. I have not seen one with a 30.06 or even an attempt at one.
