Yankies Immigrating To Texas

#1

Post by Running Arrow Bill »

On a Texas Real Estate report, there have been numerous NE businesses buying and planning to relocate to Texas. Especially the Dallas, Austin, and Houston areas. These purchases have included large business buildings, tracts, multi-family housing, and others. Has me wondering... With the infiltration of the alleged "anti-gun" businesses and people to Texas is this going to dilute Texas' influence on keeping it a Pro-Gun state? A lot of power and people in those megacities! :banghead:

Thats the issue Austin and the "Keep Austin Weird" crowd. No offense to any one here from Austin but man it sure has changed over the last 40 something years. Really the last 20 something.

If Texas goes BLUE I'm headed to Wyoming, digging a large comfy hole in the ground and covering it with 3 feet of concrete.

I wish that was funny, but it aint'. Well, maybe just a little.

I don't have the funds to take a project like this on, but for years I have wanted to buy up billboards around the airports in Austin, San Antonio, and Houston which says.......

I thought they had some old ICBM silo's for sale, sans missiles of course...They have companies that refurbish them and make them rather nice to live in...

Personally, I still want the missile...I always thought it would be neat to go out like Major Kong (Slim Pickens)...

The only other things I'll need is the combination Bible/Russian phrase book, 2 pairs of nylon stockings, 4 chocolate candybars, 10 pieces of gold/silver bullion...Shoot, a guy could have a great time in New Orleans with this stuff, forget about the silo idea... :thumbs2:

It's Yankees

Would make no difference if they came from Los Angeles, Phoenix, Tucson, Denver, Boulder, New Orleans, Miami, or Atlanta for example. Those cities certainly aren't Yankee, but they sure are liberal. Don't get me wrong, I'm a transplanted Yankee, and if I could, I'd wall off the whole state of Texas :txflag:

These auschlanders don't always understand that Texas is not just another place to live, but a whole way of life. They have to be trained in our ways, our attitudes, our values.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

I like the look of that inflatable concrete bunker.
The city is not a concrete jungle. It is a human zoo.

That whole thing could have been avoided if they had texting back then.

I too worry about those BIG town going liberal, well more than they are now anyway. I think any person moving to Texas from Oklahoma north should have to attend a Texas history class! People of Texas are VERY proud of our state and our history. We really don't care about how it was done, talked about, thought of, or anything else about in those northern state. We say "Y'ALL" NOT "you'se guys"!
