The great men and ladies that have been there and done that don't need a T shirt, they show it in their eyes and their hearts.

Re: Age question
Welcome home!
As far as your friend is concerned, he has one year after expiration of a Texas Concealed Handgun License to renew it. He has to get the renewal submitted before his next birthday.
He may not carry once his license has expired, even if he has taken the renewal course and are waiting for his new license to arrive.
If his license has been expired for more than one year, he must start over as a new original-license applicant.
He can re-apply online here: https://txapps.texas.gov/txapp/txdps/chl/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If your license renews on your 60th birthday, the online system will try to charge full price.LSL wrote:And, as seniors -- seriously -- remember to take your senior discount .
All it took was a phone call and they sent me the paperwork showing the $35 rate.

Re: Age question
His age isn't the factor. It's how long since his original license or prior renewal was issued.2ADoc wrote:I had a person ask me tonight,I am 65 and I haven't gotten my renewl notice".
