The only reason I wouldn’t want that license plate is it might draw the attention of the thieves who break into vehicles. Probably assuming you may have left your gun in the truck for easy pickings. Some things are better left unsaid.

I just like the Gonzales plate. I just want that for representing what I think is the best flag in history and nothing represents the spirit of Texas like that flag.

Somewhere in Denton County, Texas there was pewter gray Chevy Silverado
or GMC pickup with Texas vanity license plate
"45 ACP".

That's another good one. But if a savvy thief sees it parked outside a 30.06 site, his .45 ACP that was left inside might go missing.

By the way, some time ago I had checked a variety of possible vanity plates in the Texas database.

2ND-AMD was still available.

I too really like the "Come and take it" license plates. But I am not sure I want to advertise I might have guns on board--I carry, truck carry, and transport guns so I don't do gun stickers, NRA/TSRA, or cute bumper stickers. Why give thieves and waccos any advantage. I am a proud long time member of both NRA and TSRA, but put my stickers on my range box, gun safe. I do have Dutch Oven bumper stickers on my truck, but don't expect thieves to steal cast iron.

I do fly the Gonzales Come and Take It Flag along with the Gasden Battle Flag on my camper when we travel and get lots of thumbs up. The Lone Star Flag gets attention also when we are out of Texas. Got to advertise.

I just wish the darn things weren't so expensive... $85/year on top of regular registration fees is pretty spendy.

BTW... This one is still available...
