criminal record
how far back do i need to go on my app as far as criminal history?
Re: criminal record
Your whole life, but only if you were arrested.
Some people say you don't have to list juvenile offenses because those are sealed. Some people say you don't have to list arrests in a foreign country because DPS might not find out. I disagree with both.

Re: criminal record
Were you arrested or convicted? DPS only looks at convictions.

That's correct for eligibility purposes. However, an applicant is required to list all arrests, even if they weren't convicted.MoJo wrote:Were you arrested or convicted? DPS only looks at convictions.

Re: criminal record
After my 6 month fiasco I would request and submit a record from every state and county and send it in. My 6 month wait could have been 2.5 had I done it right...
