I know this has been discussed over and over for most theaters, but I can't find any past discussions involving the theater in Webster, by the new Twin Peaks. I was just wondering if anyone has seen any new or legal signage on this AMC. I have seen a no weapons sign there, but that was a while back. Thanks in advance.

I went there in January 2011 and didn't see a 30.06 sign. I was looking, because I was aware that some AMC theaters had valid signs.
I don't look for or care about signs with lists of rules like "no outside food, no smoking, no animals (except service animals), no weapons, blah, blah." They do not apply to a person with a CHL.

Fish, I don't know if they are, but have you tried Star Cinema Grill, at the North East Corner of Nasa and I-45
they have first run movies, almost no lines, lots of leg room, not so uncomfortable seating and they have a full menu, should you want to eat/drink while watching the movie
Pricing for movies is comparable, maybe a bit cheaper than AMC and the food pricing is about the same as going to Chili's or other restaurants.
And no 30.06 signs either!

It is actually a Cinemark theater, not an AMC. That is the only theater I go to, and I will only go on first showing in the mornings (I hate theaters, but my wife is a fanatic). I went there last weekend to watch the Hangover 2 (funny as all get out by the way), and didnt see any signs. I've always carried there and not seen any signs. The only AMC theater I am aware of around there is the one at 45 and Beltway.

I remember a few of us on this forum went out and did a full court press on these businesses in this area, and after a few deliveries of the "No Guns - No $$$" cards, those signs, whether they were properly posted or not, started coming down...Only a few establishments in Dallas, the best I can recall, are holding out...And thats been a few years...
Our entertainment dollars are becoming way too valuable in this economy to waste them on businesses that do not understand, or respect those of us who choose to take on this responsibility of carrying concealed...
Just my opinion...
