Race Track

#1

Post by Spiderman15 »

Got my card in the mail yesterday. So now I'm ready. Having trouble understanding the racetrack rules. My instructor said it was any and all racetracks. My question is. Is it illegal to carry at the local saturday night dirttrack races?

According to the statutes, here's the definition of racetrack:
(25) "Racetrack" means a facility that is licensed under
this Act for the conduct of pari-mutuel wagering on greyhound
racing or horse racing.
The question you really need answered, "Is it a professional sporting event?"

Another question to consider is "What's the definition of premises?"

The members of the house calendar committee who haven't scheduled HB 750

"Premises" means a building or a portion of a building. The
term does not include any public or private driveway, street, sidewalk
or walkway, parking lot, parking garage, or other parking area
