Hey all...
I am breaking out the safe queens and EDC's and heading to the range.
I am going out to Great Southwest Gun and Archery Range Saturday if you would like to join. In fact...The first person that commits..Ill pay their range fee.

Ill be there at 2:00 who wants to go??

We can see that you are in Rowlett, but what town is that range in?

I am working Saturday, but someone else may be interested if they think
that range is in easy miles from their 20.

II'll be there. But at 2:00 I'll still have four hours of class to teach. Make sure you pop around back to the classroom and say "Hi."

Can't make it on Saturday as I was just there today. Good range and nice guys running it. Have fun.

HLS is a great guy! I'd meet you there if I didn't already have out-of-town plans for this weekend. I was at Great Southwest last weekend having a blast shooting the sweet Security Six you recently sold me, as well as some of my other lead launchers.

Based on my experience there last Saturday, you might have to wait for a lane at 2pm. I got there about 1pm and got the last open lane; when I came out an hour later, there were a bunch of people waiting in the store area for lanes. Don't let that stop you from going though, I think it's still worth it. Do be aware that if there is a waiting list for lanes, the lane entrance fee becomes an hourly fee (I don't remember seeing that on the website, but a staff member came out and politely informed me of that once there was a waiting list and my first hour was up).

You can also shoot rifles (up to 7.62x39 I think) or shotguns (birdshot only, no buck or slugs; extra $5 for shotguns).

I like your idea of letting folks know when you'll be at the gun range HLS. Seems like a good way to widen our circle of friends with like minded individuals. Plus trying out different firearms is a nice benefit. I think I'm going to copy your idea and post when I'll be going to the range.

Wow, that is really close to where I work. I would not be around there on Saturdy, but...Hmmm, that could be a nice way to relax after work during the week!

Hope to see a few out there today. Ill have to drive past three other ranges to get to this one, but I really want to do business with other CHL's especially if they post here... (mrpaul owns the range)
