I never was arrested for the warrants I just payed the traffic ticket and the warrant fee.
Would this prevent me from getting my chl if it doesnt would I have to disclose this on my app

It will not keep you from getting a CHL. As far as what to disclose..the amswer is within the instructions in the app.

I listed everything I could find aside from standard traffic tickets. I had a failure to appear as well, just listed it as a failure to appear charge, not specifically a warrant.
When I called DPS they said to list everything but actual traffic tickets. This even included things I was not arrested for. If you're not sure about something list it anyway, better to disclose things you don't have to than to not list something you should have.

In Texas, a Failure to Appear is a misdemeanor... if you weren't arrested, then you weren't convicted. You still have no convictions on your record. It's a moot point when filing for your CHL.
