I need some info. My wife will soon be the new Judge in the town we live in. She is planing to take her chl class next month. She should have her chl in hand about the sametime has she gets her promotion.
So the question is. Is there anything that would keep her from carrying her pistol at work?

Re: Need some info
Welcome to the forum.
According to statute, judges are exempt from Penal Code 46.02 and 46.03. However, courts (being an independent branch of government) can make their own rules. Some courts prohibit weapons except for guards who have prisoners in custody.

As far as I know, only if the chief magistrate or whatever the position is called prohibits weapons in the courthouse. Is there anything that would keep her from carrying her pistol at work?
