Thought I'd join the chorus: my wife has also announced her desire to get her CHL!

Relax and Get going the soonest.
Many go to the classes with NO prior study and do ok. The shooting is Pass or Fail grade only. Don't have to be a perfect shooter. (Most of us are Still studying!!!!!)
There is the long wait after class to actually get the license, so plenty of time to study then!!

My wife has had hers for several yrs now. She had hers before I got mine. Had hers before we were married (will be a yr in late March). Yes, she has had more than one moment of out-shooting me. We do alright and take the responsibility seriously.
