Re: Cuffed and Stuffed update
That's great news!! Heck of an ordeal to have to go through just for printing.

Errmmmm....could you put this into context? I'm kind of at a loss.handog wrote:Charges dropped! Keep em 110% concealed folks. Anyone can drop a dime on you. Even printing will take you to H ll and back.

Re: Cuffed and Stuffed
Joe, remember a few days ago he posted that he went to DPS (or someplace) and after he left got pulled over and arrested for unlawful carry or something similar? I don't remember all the details....hopefully he'll come back and refresh our memories.

Re: Cuffed and Stuffed
The old thread was probably deleted because it was an ongoing legal issue.
Re: Cuffed and Stuffed
Yes, the old thread was removed at the OP's request. I will allow the OP to respond to the issue.

Re: Cuffed and Stuffed
Excuse me gentlemen. I have lost a lot of sleep this week. Here’s what happened. I was taking care of some business at a nearby government office. There was no 30.06 sign so I went on in. Even though my hand gun was holstered IWB with a long shirt covering it was somehow identified. The next thing I knew there were eight handguns and a shotgun staring me in the face. Since the law was not broken the county attorney’s office declined to prosecute the case. Keith B and others were looking out for me and pulled the original post.

Re: Cuffed and Stuffed
Congrats on getting cleared...but what was the reason that you were arrested? For UCW, right? What did the arresting officer(s) articulate as the reason for arrest? I'm just curious as to how it all went down after the cops had their guns pointed at you. Any way you could post a pic of what you were wearing that day (with your gun/holster on too)? Sorry for all the questions but inquiring minds want to know...

Re: Cuffed and Stuffed
The charge was unlawful carry of a hand gun by a lic. holder. According to the law the gun would have had to been exposed intentionally, knowingly or recklessly. Since that was not the case it was thrown out. The LEO told me that I had taken the class and there was no excuse. This was my first run in with the law as adult (I'm 40+) other than a minor traffic ticket. I was suprised at how ignorant of the law they were. When the dust settled the judge agreed with me, not the LEO.

WOWSERS...I'd really like to see a pic of your outfit/set-up that day...was the gun actually exposed or was it printing? Thank you for responding...this is seriously disturbing.

Pics coming soon. You will see it was a common set up. IWB holster untucked loose shirt.

Re: Cuffed and Stuffed
Interested to know what jurisdiction it was in, sounds like the LEO needs a refresh on CHL statutes and the County Attorney deserves another term.
