Has anyone been to the fair? Is it 30.06 posted?

I don't know either but I am supposed to go and was wondering. I wonder if this is like the state fair where you show your CHL and get in .

I wen to the fair yesterday, was not carrying since I was not sure of it's status, but I did not see any postings correct or incorrect about guns. They did make very clear not to bring in food or drink or that you could not video tape anything (big 6" block letters).

I did carry at the parade in the morning. The only problems were my self conciousness around all of the city police.

Went to the fair last nite and carried my Kimber in a shoulder rig under a button up shirt....not easy to get to but not impossible. No signage or wands and no problems and a good time was had by all. One thing to note for the people who havent been carrying long and the sight of a policeman makes them sweat be forwarned that their is an overwhelming police presence including the Ft. Bend gang task force in full raid tactical outfits.

Went today.. No signs ... no metal detectors... no problems.

Why don't they want any video taping? Isn't that kind of strange?

Any update on this? This was 2 years ago and I'm curious.
