AMC Theater - North Park Mall, Dallas

FYI - Just moved to Dallas and went to see Gran Torino (good movie by the way) at the AMC theater at North Park Mall in Dallas, and they tried really, really hard to keep us law abiding CHL holders out...but didn't get it right. On either side of the ticket booth they have gun buster signs, and an attempt at a 30.06 sign. 30.06 sign looks pretty good except that it is at least 1/2 as big as it should be to be legal.

It is interesting to me that this sign would be there. No sign on the entrance to the mall itself. And as I recall this mall has seen some criminal activity in the past, so allowing folks to protect themselves seems smart. But I guess AMC doesn't think so.

Guess I'll find another place to go see movies if I can.

AMC has a long history of not liking guns.

Just went yesterday to AMC in Highland Village to see Clint's latest flick. Did not see any type of gun signage there. Or if it was there, it was not in a conspicuos loation - to me anyway. Very cold outside and I'll admit not much time lookin' for one. ;-)

yeah I noticed this as well. None of the mall entrance has any sign but as soon as you enter the AMC, they have this giant sign.
