Dallas CHL classes all booked?

I've got a handful of friends looking to get their CHL's. They said that yesterday after shooting at Targetmasters they asked about taking a CHL class there, and were shocked to learn that they are booked solid until sometime in March.

Have you guys heard that other places around Dallas are just as busy? Anyone have a recommendation of a good instructor who definitely has a few openings in the next few weeks?

I took mine from this guy, he's terrific, and it looks like he's got openings. I believe the weekend classes are more likely to be full.

We just added two more classes, as we were also booked until March.

We turned our Feb 7 Utah class into a combination class, and have openings today.... probably not for long.

There are a couple of members of our club who teach CHL courses at Bass Pro in Grapevine too.

I've added some scheduled "post inauguration" classes and can still do others privately. Got one this Saturday with a few slots left and another Sunday afternoon with completion Monday night. Details at http://www.dentoncountysports.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The Democrats decimated my hunting season!

This is all great info. I really appreciate it guys. :tiphat:

And Greybeard, if there are a handful of noble causes worth sacrificing part of your hunting season for, this would certainly be one of them!

I think Ed W. and Roy P.'s website is http://www.gunplay.us" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; they instruct at both the Bas Pro shop in Grapevine and at Terrell Rifle and Pistol Club.

Will add our instructor Sgt George Wiley of the DPD...former SWAT leader....currently instructor with DPD and armorer there. He is listed on TX Instructor's listing at DPS or email back. Wonderful perspective!! If you want me to get you his contact//back at hazeltonj@sbcglobal.net. Classes were over near TargetMasters...his wife Beth does all the sign ups and helps get paperwork flowing.
