56 Days

I am at 56 days and still "processing application" sent email yesterday and still no response should I bother calling them or do I get an automated response? This is worse than when I was a little kid waiting for christmas.

Calling will get a better response than email. Just be polite and well mannered and you'll get good service.

Yeah - you won't get much of any response until AFTER 60 days has past. You think they would appreciate it when you try to keep them from breaking the law...

I had a renewal student tell me Saturday at the Pasadena Gun show that he waited 68 days for his renewal license to be issued.
And no delays or problems with the paperwork or prints.
No explanation from DPS.
I suspect a funding problem within the department.

I was told by DPS that 60 days was 60 business days. I recieved mine in 58 business days but I have heard that they are running behind.

It's not; calendar days unless the statute states otherwise, and it doesn't.

Someone at DPS is either misinformed or lied to you.

So I am 34 days into mine and finally got my PIN. Will it just read }Processing" until it's done?
