TSRA Unsecure Order Form

Does anyone know why the TSRA order form is not using SSL? It is a fully unsecure site asking for credit card information? If anyone knows who I should contact over there, I'd like to do that, as I think it will discourage people from signing up.

I noticed this too and just decided to sign up over the phone. I did forget to mention it to them though...

Well shows what I know. I signed up in a big hurry and didn't even notice that. Dang.

The lack of ssl on their sign up form prevented me from signing up for the TSRA. My father asked if I was a member and I told him no as well as the reason why. About a month later he bought me a 1 yr membership. I do not like talking to people on the telephone, specially not when my personal info and credit card numbers are involved. I imagine this issue has kept numerous people from signing up for the TSRA, and they really need to resolve the issue. I've sent them emails and have yet to receive a response.

It was due to this that I had Diane send me a half dozen printed applications.
Let me see if I can find them, and I would mail to anyone that is serious about joining.
ETA: I have eight printed TSRA applications that I will mail to the first eight serious inquiries who PM me their mailing address.
All that I ask is that you follow through with joining.

You are correct, the TSRA is an unsecured website. Not a good thing. I spoke with them about it when I signed up over the phone, and they said they were working on it. I think it would be better for the masses if they just replaced the order page with a 'please call page'. I think they have been 'working' on setting up the secured page for too long.
