Pre-Approved Verbiage
Being that I am not the most eloquent writer, is there some “pre-approved” verbiage that we can print and give to the offending manager or owner who has posted a 30.06 sign?

Re: Pre-Approved Verbiage
Do you mean letting them know they have incorrect 30.06 signs? Personally, I wouldn't. It may make them go out and get legit 30.06 signs. I would leave well enough alone.
Or do you mean just a complaint letter about having a 30.06 to begin with?

I think ddcarter3 is referring to "CHL Business Cards" No Gun = No Cash. TSRA has them, but their link has been messed up for a long time. http://tsra.com/shop/

Re: Pre-Approved Verbiage
Thanks guys. I printed some of the cards from the equelforce site. They are close to what I was wanting. I will see if I can edit them for Texas.

Re: Pre-Approved Verbiage
I downloaded a Word .doc of the card's front and back. The front is the Slash across a gun and dollar sign.
The back will say this:
Texas Concealed Handgun License Holders:
l Are at least 21 years of age
l Have no felony or domestic violence convictions
l Have no history of mental illness or drug addiction
l Have submitted fingerprints & undergone FBI background checks
l Know Texas law on concealed carry & justifiable use of force
l Have paid as much as $140 for state-mandated training & a $140 permit fee – to comply with the law and obtain a permit
“No Gun” signs turn law-abiding customers away – while advertising a “safe working environment” to criminals!
NO Sign = Good Cents!

These are goodddcarter3 wrote:What do y'all think?
Also no recent class A or B misdemeanors and not delinquent on property taxes or student loans.Have no felony or domestic violence convictions
Have no history of mental illness or drug addiction
Have submitted fingerprints & undergone FBI background checks
This isn't true (military) and irrelevant unless they sell alcohol
These are distracting from the main messageAre at least 21 years of age
Why do they care how much we spent for a license and how much we know about violence?Know Texas law on concealed carry & justifiable use of force
Have paid as much as $140 for state-mandated training & a $140 permit fee – to comply with the law and obtain a permit
Re: Pre-Approved Verbiage
Thanks Amber! Just the input I am looking for! I agree with most of your comments. See corrections.
How about this?
Texas Concealed Handgun License Holders:
l Have a clean criminal history, including no felony or domestic violence convictions
l Have no history of mental illness or drug addiction
l Have submitted fingerprints & undergone FBI background checks
l Know Texas law on concealed carry & justifiable use of force
l Have completed and passed state-mandated training to obtain the permit
“No Gun” signs turn law-abiding customers away – while advertising a “safe working environment” to criminals!
NO Sign = Good Cents!
