MAJOR FACTOR IN GETTING TEXAS CHL

Been around before, but good to watch every once in awhile. This was the woman who left her gun in her car when she went in to have lunch with her parents in Waco. Her testimony was a major factor in the Texas concealed carry law being passed.

Uh... her testimony? Suzanna Hupp was a state rep for many years and was a major driving force behind the CHL law, but it wasn't just from testimony.

Dr. Susan Gratia's testimony was one (1) major reason we now have CHL. Of course, many worked day and night for this. I'm pointing out 1.

She wasn't elected until after CHL passed in 1995. She was a witness in both House and Senate hearings on SB60 and that is what got her elected to the Texas House.

It was the Luby's in Killeen.

I missed that time line I guess. I will say that she does a fine job of filling in for Jeff Ward on 590am some afternoons.

She is as unelectable on the national stage as is Ron Paul. For many of the same reasons. But she would sure have my vote.

Eh, well...he is right. It is silly to waste money on a unelectable candidate.

The good doctor was in Lubys with her Mom and Dad during the Killeen massacre. I should have given more background before posting the video. I believe the argument for CHL's on colleges would benefit from the dynamics shown twenty years ago when 23 people were killed for lack of an armed patron.
