How long do you have to complete your range qualification after your class work is complete?

I would certainly suggest doing much sooner, but for original licenses, TR-100 is supposed to be good if submitted within 2 years of the first date shown.

But you don't get a TR-100 until you pass both the written test and the shooting test. It sounds like he only completed the classroom portion.

I don't see anything in the book about time limits between the classroom and range tests but maybe there's an administrative rule the instructors have been told.
