I was surprised about the same thing when I had moved to Nacogdoches. I couldn't get over the lack of gun stores and outdoor stores. The only dedicated gun stores that I remember was in Lufkin and in Cushing. Everyone else was like A1, a combo guns and pawn. I moved and I now have at least 3 different outdoor stores and at least 4-5 gun stores in my town and the next town over. The store the next town over has a great indoor range (for when I can't get out into the National Forest) and they offer various training classes. From what I remember the closest indoor range was in Tyler.Murindo wrote:You will not regret your move. Austin is the best city in Texas. Yeah, it's full of smelly liberal hippies, but that does not matter. Rick Perry is Governor.
