I dunno. I'd have to ask him. I'm guessing because the Crossbreed has tell tale clips that clip the holster to your belt even though the holster is inside the waistband.

Your friend may consider a Nano a mouse gun but believe me, it is very potent with SD ammunition. You don't need a cannon to protect yourself.

I carry a 1911 everyday but recently picked up a TCP to carry as a BUG in either an ankle holster of a pocket holster

I've had the devil of a time trying to carry IWB. I couldn't even get comfortable with my LCP IWB. Last fall I got a deep concealed ultra shoulder holster and used that all winter. I really like carrying that way, though a quick draw would result in flying buttons. (They make hook and loop shirts, but I'm not crazy about those either.)
Alas, Texas summer showed up and I quickly realized that all I'd have by mid-June would be a salty, clump of rust if I continued carrying that way. I tried various bags and fanny packs. I even got one of those small back packs like you see bicyclists wear and recut the straps so that it hung under my shoulder. None of those options were particularly comfortable and in most cases I'd be better off by swinging the bag using the weight of my pistol as a bludgeon, because I never did figure out a way to reliably and quickly bring the weapon into play from any of the bags.
I'd bought a Crossbreed super tuck for my wife's Walther PK380, and discovered that my Ruger SR9c fit into it remarkably well. In desperation a couple of weeks ago, I tried it again. I'm not sure what I'm doing different, but it worked very well. It's been on my side at about 4-o-clock since. I'm surprised to find my self even more comfortable with it now than I was my deep concealed ultra.
My LCP .380 BUG stays in my right hip pocket in a pocket holster. I need to go back to carrying a spare mag for each in a belt case.
I really can't offer any advice as I don't know why something that bothered me so much last year feels so comfortable now. I'm just glad I've got a viable option now.

I carry an Elsie Pea every day in my back pocket. With the desantis superfly, it looks like a wallet. The gun I have beats the Glock on my nightstand. I refer back to what my CHL instructor taught us. Shot placement, shot placement, shot placement! Hit 'em in the head, hit 'em in the head, hit 'em in the head!

On a side topic, I find the LCP much harder on my hands than the SR9c. Fifty to seventy five rounds through the LCP has my hand aching. It's actually fun to shoot because it is so intense when it sends lead down range. I just can't do it for very long.
My wife's Walther PK380 however is a different story. If it didn't go "bang" you'd never know you'd shot it. But it's almost a big as my SR9c so you don't gain much in the way of concealability. It's just so easy to rack and shoot that my wife can handle it, even with her sever arthritis.

Bought an inexpensive rubber wrap and grip extensions for my P3AT (same gun basically as your LCP) and it makes all the difference in the world. 100 rounds last weekend and no pain.

A buddy of mine who carries a big bad .45 Glock and turned his nose up at "mouse guns". So, at church, I asked him, "Hey, man, are you carrying?"

"No, my shirt is tucked in."

At work, I asked him, "Hey, man, are you carrying?"

"No, my shirt is tucked in."

We went out to a fancy restaurant, I asked him, "Hey, man, are you carrying?"

"No, my shirt is tucked in."

If you'd asked me, I'd have responded with, "Yeah, my .45 is right here on my hip, under my tucked in shirt."

My normal carry lately is a M&P Shield in .40 and I find it to be extremely comfortable. Currently using a hybrid holster with the gun positioned at about 3:30. But when that is not an option I will carry a P3AT. I practice with both a couple of times a month and they have both been extremely reliable.

I have never been able to carry when tucked in. I have several crossbreeds, and my build just won't allow good carry when tucked. Sure, I'm covered under the law as far as being concealed, but it becomes very obvious that I have a pistol strapped to my hip when tucked in. The other problems is that, in general, if I'm tucked in, I'm going to work. Since I work at a university, I cannot carry tucked or un-tucked, and it's not possible to easily or stealthily re-arm myself when I get to my vehicle.

Most days, I carry a Springfield XDs .45 in a IWB hybrid I made myself at 4:30 and an un-tucked shirt. However, for the days that I'm tucked for work or unable to carry IWB, I carry either a S&W .38 special revolver or a Kahr CM9 in a fabric pocket holster. I used to carry an LCP all the time, but I prefer a bit more punch if I can swing it. The .38 fits into any front pocket I have, and the CM9 works in cargo short front pockets.

I really want to get some smithing work done on my 1911's to make them more carry-friendly. The back straps are heavily checked, and they just tear me apart; I don't wear undershirts. I'm thinking about checking out a local smith a friend referred me to for a de-bur job and more.
