I'm not sure that's true. I don't interpret the intent of the management out of the actions of the corporation.
Even small shops, I wonder if there is an "insurance" reason for these 30.06 signs - but I've got no reference...
Some people like guns, some people don't.. And there are lots of in-betweens.

cb1000rider- you got a point there. I think I have to agree with you.
I just personally feel the CHL people are kind of unfairly targeted with these 30.06 signs.
Actually it's almost like you should fear the law more than an aggressive attack.

No restaurant can force you to leave you gun in your car. That's a CHOICE you make when you decide to patronize a business that doesn't respect your rights. I get it when people have to work some place that doesn't recognize their rights, but no one has to eat at the Olive Garden or any other particular restaurant. A choice to patronize a business like this isn't just about giving money to our enemies, it also a choice to put your family at risk should a nut job show up and start shooting people. The chances are small but I'd sure regret leaving my gun in my car to have it stolen and used in a crime, and I'd really regret being caught in a situation where I couldn't defend myself of my family.
