I agree that carrying a pocket gun is good if that's what realistically fits your lifestyle. But I would suggest that this video is not a complete vindication of pocket guns for defense. Look a how much fight the bad guys have after being shot. They are breaking speed records getting out that door. They could just as easily have used that energy to shoot back or otherwise resist. In other words the .380 did not stop them, they just happened to be scared young punks, not rage filled, mentally unstable shooters.

Not withstanding the old guys aim and where they were shot, also what load was he using....damage is damage....

"Both of the crooks suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds and were later captured. And according to police, Williams — a licensed concealed carry gun owner — won't face any repercussions."

As a quick follow-up, since I've recieved my CHL I have not left the house without something. I've changed my attire a bit to accommodate an IWB holster for my PT740, but if it's a T-Shirt and shorts the P3AT is either IWB or in a pocket holster.

I carry a Beretta Nano daily. Most of the time in my right rear pocket with a shirt covering it. It has a LaserMax and I use a Remora 4ART holster. I have a Sneaky Pete holster ordered so I can carry without using a cover shirt.

Yes, it does carry well in the front pocket with a Remora holster in size 38 jeans or shorts. Gets a little snug with the 8 round mag.

I've been guilty of only carrying my P3AT in a pocket for quick trips. Most of the time it's 14 rounds of +p Gold Dot via my XDSC9.

It's a version of the Gyrojet. It appeared in a Bond movie but on the sidelines in a scene. Obviously those aren't Gyrojet rounds in the chambers. I guess that whatever they filled it with is supposed to make it look cooler. Or maybe they just didn't have 12 Gyrojet rounds.

The Sneaky Pete holster came in Friday. I have been using it since then and really like it. It meets the requirements of the law as far as concealed without having to use a cover shirt. It is made of soft leather and is very comfortable. Plenty of options where to carry it on your belt. I think I like it best over my right rear pocket.

A buddy of mine who carries a big bad .45 Glock and turned his nose up at "mouse guns". So, at church, I asked him, "Hey, man, are you carrying?"

"No, my shirt is tucked in."

At work, I asked him, "Hey, man, are you carrying?"

"No, my shirt is tucked in."

We went out to a fancy restaurant, I asked him, "Hey, man, are you carrying?"

"No, my shirt is tucked in."

Later, we hit a gun show and he bought a Beretta Nano. Yeah, I'd rather have a .45, but unless you are a slob and never tuck your shirt in, I'd rather have a "mouse gun" than nothing. BTW, I have a "real gun" and a "Smartcarry" holster, but unless I'm going into a high risk neighborhood, Im not gonna go everywhere looking like I'm happy to see everyone. (google "smartcarry" and you'll know what I mean).
