When I cc now, with either my Glock 19 or my Glock 43, I do not worry if my handgun becomes exposed by either reaching for something or by a gust of wind. Nor do I concern myself with printing. But I never intentionally expose my Glock while cc. . I am just more comfortable with my Glock in a holster on my side covered by a light jacket or coat. Several people have observed my handgun from time to time but have never said anything nor did they have a frightened look about them.
I open carry sometime but when I do, its mostly outdoors not inside a business. Its just my comfort zone.
Just my opinion. I'm sure others feel different.

I get that. I was mainly asking the OP because he said fear of printing kept his G19 in the drawer for a long time.

I've carried my G19 religiously for 9 years and never had an issue. There have been times where it was definitely "printing" but that has never bothered me because 99.9% of the people out there won't notice printing, ever, and also because it wasn't illegal to accidentally expose.

Now with OC, I can see how it's more comfortable in terms of concern over exposure, but in reality, it wasn't an issue before although myth had a lot of people believing that "printing" was illegal.

Had you accidentally exposed before, you weren't breaking any law. Something tells me that you probably could have carried the Glock all along if you're CC'ing it now just with less concern.

Nobody, I mean NOBODY, notices any sort of "printing" through clothes and almost nobody would notice a very brief accidental exposure.
I guess that when I originally started carrying concealed in 2008, I was overly concerned with printing or brandishing so I didn't carry much. I realized they changed the brandishing rules a bit recently, but I still seldom carried. The open carry law made it more comfortable for me to carry concealed, since others would be carrying openly.

So, my answer would be I'm just not as worried about exposure with the new law.
