What irk'ed me is being left out. I'm an anything-but-Apple person and read a long article recently about having Apple stuff is now a lifestyle.

To me Lifestyle is an amalgamation of various pursuits in one's life. I also dont care for the word lifestyle.

When it's cold outside, I put on a coat and hat: Does that constitute a Winter L.S.?

Or if it's raining and I put on foul weather gear, is that a...O.K., I'll stop.

You get my point.

Categorizing how you conduct your life a "lifestyle" was probably dreamt up by some shallow, limp wristed fashionista realizing the great gullibility of the masses who would soon adopt this bogus term, because they believe themselves to be so very au courant...while the fashionistas scoffingly laugh behind their hands whenever they see/hear this fraudulent bit of word frippery in use.

I wonder if y'all understand what it mean by lifestyle. To me with my CHL it's a change in clothing, change in demeanor, change of locations, etc. Last thing I want to do is to pull my pistol out because if so, that's a real change in lifestyle beyond your control.

I haven't changed my clothing, demeanor or locations, etc.
The difference is that the state allows me to legally carry a concealed handgun, when previously I could not.
I have changed a few habits, but I do not consider that to be a "lifestyle" change.

From my getting a CHL my main thought is not to let it dictate my lifestyle . I carry a pocket pistol so that I require no special clothing . I refuse to let carrying a firearm interfere with my life , this was a very 'up front' thought when I started carrying .
