Hmm I didn't know there were so many Brits here. Tell me-Was going to a gun store in TX after leaving the British Isle like the scene on Willy Wonka when the children entered the room where everything was made of candy?

Most Brits to some extent or another have an inate concern about firearms. Even though I shot them often enough with the military in the UK I was much younger then. So my first trip to a gun store was tinged with a little apprehension. When something is drilled into you as a kid it's amazing how logic defying those emotions are.

Once I got past that feeling, and realized I wasn't gong to incur the wrath of big brother, gun store trips perhaps have special meaning. I can exercise a right, here in the land of the free (or at least freer than they are!) and enjoy it. I do!

I often dream that I've found a golden ticket to tour the Smith and Wesson factory and the tour guide opens the doors and sings:

Come with me
And you'll be
In a world of
guns and ammunition :biggrinjester:
