On another forum, I just read that Massachusetts will not accept a passport as proof of citizenship when applying for a license to carry. Wait... what? :shock: :roll:

I don't have a passport, but if I did, I'd be careful about using it as ID. Where I work, contractors have to leave an ID at the gate when they pick up their contractor badges. One of them lost her DL, so she's been leaving her passport until she can get a replacement. I didn't think anything about it, until the guy working with me picked it up, opened it, and said, "Wow, I wonder why she was going to the Philippines?"

:shock:

A passport, if it's been used, can reveal a lot of stuff you might rather not be public knowledge.
