It's actually 7th Avenue (7th street runs E-W through downtown out to University and past). That's the main Cook Children's campus, though they have about 20 clinics and other facilities throughout Tarrant County. They're good folks, the 30.06 notwithstanding.

Two major hospitals in the Tyler area; one is posted and the other one has 'gun buster' signs. Guess which one we frequent?

Anyone know about Medical City in N Dallas? TX3006 says they have the wrong sign but I'm wondering if it's been changed yet. My 4mo daught will have to have Cochlear Implants in the coming months and I'm just wondering if I can carry there or not.

It must be Karma or sumptin'!

My grandson started throwing up this afternoon, and now, at almost 10:00 pm, I'm sitting in the Cooks Children's Urgent Care in Southlake.

There's no gun buster or 30.06 signage anywhere that I can see.

And, though their Guest WiFi blocks TexasCHL Forum, my Ipad works well with Hola!, so using a VPN tunnel through Canada, I'm able to access the forum without trouble.

And while I normally use Hola! To listen to American Forces Network Europe ( that's one of the things I did while I was in the Air Force) and watch BBC-TV programming, it's nice to be able to get around some of our domestic censorship shenanigans.
