If it's on the internet, it must be true!

I was the one that originally bumped this 4 year old thread and this is the position I have decided to take. Concealed is concealed... if I am somehow found out and someone wants to raise a fuss, then I guess I'll be the test case. I'm not worried about it at all.

Went to Fort Worth Zoo a couple of weeks ago for grandchild's birthday. It too is posted 30.06 but owned by the city of Fort Worth. I carried, believing that if found out, I would probably beat the rap, but may take the ride. On the way to the zoo I stopped and bought a different shirt as it became so windy that my shirt kept getting blown in the wind and I was concerned with becoming unconcealed. I wasn't seeking to be the test case so I was extra cautious.

We made it out to the Dallas Zoo yesterday and it was NOT posted 30.06. There were no metal detectors, anyone searching bags or anything of the sort. I carried all day (rode the DART) and there were zero issues.

I'm about to go to the Fort Worth Zoo, and my wife has already informed me that I cannot carry, via the website.

Tell her not to believe everything she reads.

You just tell her that as a man, YOU decide what happens, when and where.

Then run, hide, and post the hilarity. :hurry: :???:

Just went to ft worth zoo today. They have 2 signs, one as you enter the parking lot at the parking ticket booth, the other as you buy your entrance ticket at the front gate.

I usually frequent the Dallas Zoo. If you look to the far right of the ticket booth it is a decently large sign plus one when you walk through. I actually started carrying a 10mm because I went to the Zoo so much and didn't feel like my .40 was enough to stop one of the flamingos that kept eyeballing me.

You should get a S&W 69.....only .44Mag can reliably stop an enraged flamingo.....

Yeah but what if I miss 2-3 rounds? I will only have 2-3 left depending the revolver. With the 10mm I can still have 8-9 to engage fellow flamingos.
