Thanks for the link, but it didn't exactly answer my question. I'm guessing nobody knows if Doubletree responded to Jerry, and I'm guessing even if Doubletree responded, they haven't removed their 30.06 signs so...speedsix wrote:viewtopic.php?f=7&t=51720&hilit=hilton+austin+posted
Totally legal sign. There is no definition of what 'contrasting' is in the statutes. If you can see it, it is contrasting.kf5nd wrote:The thread never dies because Hilton never fixes their mistake. We have to keep reminding people to not use Hilton.
Sign below not legal (not contrasting letters), but it still makes me mad, and I don't want to be the test case either...

Where was that sign? I was all over that hotel during the NRA extravaganza and never saw a 30.06 sign. I wonder if they put it up after we were there?kf5nd wrote:The thread never dies because Hilton never fixes their mistake. We have to keep reminding people to not use Hilton.

Last time I was there, it was located on the east entrance. That was a couple years ago. The problem I had with it was that it was not posted if a person came in through the parking lot entrance. I never saw the sign because I never came in the entrance it was at. I knew it was there because of this forum.Charles L. Cotton wrote:Where was that sign?
