I won't be as paranoid about reaching overhead and my firearm showing anymore and if it does its no longer a crime.

I won't change how I conceal my handgun.

However, I will change where I draw that proverbial line in the sand between drawing and not drawing my handgun, now that the legal standard has been changed. To avoid being charged with failure to conceal used to require that I was justified in using deadly force. Now the legal standard is I am justified in using ordinary force.

Big difference.

I think this is a positive change for CHL, but don't see many folks making any changes in their methods.

No. I mostly carry OWB. This law will take some of the worry, of failing to conceal, away. :thumbs2:

I have a good concealed carry shoulder holster I'm going to keep on carrying the same way no change
Never had any issues I'm leaving well enough alone

"handog situation" he was arrested for his weapon showing when he got up from chair there is a story on here somewhere somebody will post a link I am sure.

Thanks guys.

Reading the thread I don't think it would have helped actually. The arresting officers were already ignorant of the law. I doubt they will educate themselves further.

The law is helpful and makes defending any charge less expensive. But I'd proffer actual day to day its best to have absolutely no change and assume bad things could happen.
