Current Law Quick Reference Card???????
Does anyone currently make a small 'quick reference' card for CHLs? Something that outlines the NO GO zones which one could keep in their wallet or over the car visor say???? It all gets more convoluted (or at least I get more confused) with each legislative session....

Dirn, that IS a good idea...I really do think so...
I have a B12 deficiency, and sometimes I forget what I am doing from time to time...
Number One:
"Don't say anything, to anyone, unless you are prepared to have it used against you in a court of law. No matter what that may be."
Just an idea off the top of muh head...

If'n us, the congresscritters, and Gov. Perry can hook up and make it happen the card would not be very big at all.

Actually, I made one to fit my dayrunner last month! A page or two each for TX and OK. I included not just prohibited places, but also selected deadly force laws. I used small fonts and summarized what I found online.

Sounds like a business opportunity for you!sailor2000 wrote:Does anyone currently make a small 'quick reference' card for CHLs?
Or, as my political activist friends say when someone has a suggestion, "You should do that!"

I have made something you can use. It is not a GO - NO GO guide, but it has all the relevant laws that you would be faced with on a daily basis and you can refer to if the need arises. Just have to figure out how to post it. Give me a sec.sailor2000 wrote:Does anyone currently make a small 'quick reference' card for CHLs? Here it is. You have to print it on double side of page and tri-fold.

This is good stuff!!! Very handy, you could print it out, maybe laminate it and keep it up in the visor in your vehicle possibly to review if need be...Lucky45 wrote:I have made something you can use. It certainly won't be considered reading or showing Law Enforcement if there is a conflict of opinion, but it might keep you out of trouble before you get into it...
But thats just my opinion...
This "pdf" file need to be placed in a sticky somewhere retrievable...
This along with any other printable reference material that comes out of this thread...
