There's a disease out there that can infect mice that causes them to lose their mind and boldly go where no mouse should go, namely into the jaws of a waiting cat. I've heard that this disease can also infect humans. Maybe this is the case they were talking about.
"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives a moderate exercise to the Body, it gives boldness, enterprise, and independence to the mind . . . Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks."

Let me play benefit of the doubt and then you'll see where I'm going with this.

So, lets say he has trust in each shooter. They are all great shots. They have good reflexes. They are alert and understand the drill perfectly. Perfect case scenario.

However, nothing in life remains perfect case scenario. Human beings aren't perfect. All it takes is one muscle twitch at the wrong moment. Or one of them didn't get enough sleep the night before and doesn't want to admit it. Or a fly buzzes someone's eye during the drill. A plethora of little things can go wrong, and Murphy's law says it WILL happen at the worst possible time when it does. That man isn't simply stupid or ignorant. He is OVERCONFIDENT and that generally leads to real bad things, IMHO.

There is no way that any small training value there might be in such foolishness can possibly outweigh the risks involved.

If he did get killed, I am willing to bet the shooters would be held accountable. Why would you, as a shooter, agree to take aim and fire while a person is walking in front of you? no one in the clip is mentally fit to own a firearm.

I think Texas blaze has a point. I can't shoot someone simply because they dared me to do it. I would have been in the ranks of people finding a different place to train. Nothing about that clowns billy bad act impresses me. My bet is, he has watched one to many desert storm war movies. :patriot:

Maybe he thinks he's indestructible, like Bruce Willis?

I had to stop watching, but it seems in a few of the (very short) camera angle shots, there were scenes filmed from behind the instructor looking at the shooters. So apparently they were shooting at the instructor AND the cameraman.

Kinda makes me wonder how many instructors they go thru in a weeks time... :headscratch

How can that many people miss at that range??? Even a blind squirrel funds a nut once in a while. I dare the instructor to do that after a few weeks of target practice!

LOL... I assumed they were trying to miss. Now that you pointed this out... I am thinking those folks are some really bad shots. Maybe they are not leading him enough. :biggrinjester:

I disagree. It's not that it "takes all kinds," but that there ARE all kinds. Some of those kinds we could do very well without. :smash:
